Around the Globe Piano Music Festival held on 15th November 2015, in London at Colet House, W14, achieved great success and excellent reviews. Among many contestants from different parts of the UK and from all around the world, as far away as Singapore, there were many talented players including children and more mature pianists. It is going to be a great pleasure to hear some of the impressive piano performances again at this brilliant venue.

The winners of different ages will play diverse styles, from classical to contemporary piano music, and works by some less-known composers from around the world. In addition, the concert programme will feature Western and East European modern composers, including a recently discovered manuscript of Alfred Schnittke's Piano Preludes 1952/53.

We are looking forward to hearing the performance of John Bailey who won 3 major awards, as well as a Trophy for Adult Classes. He is going to play a modern piece Memorabilia, written by the Serbian composer Ognjen Bogdanovic, a truly outstanding piano composition that was masterfully performed at AGPMF in November 2015.

Part of this concert will be dedicated In Memoriam of Siobhan Teka, Marina Petrov's student who passed away suddenly and prematurely at the age of 25. She was her student for 13 years and Ms Petrov, along with her prize-winning students, will perform piano pieces in her tribute on this occasion.
