Dear Followers,
We are thrilled to announce the prestigious
Around the Globe International Music Festival 2024,
a hallmark event hosted by Around the Globe Music & Arts this autumn.
Our website is undergoing final touches, and online applications for candidates
will open on Monday, 30th September.
The festival will feature online music competitions, culminating in a live prizewinners' concert in the iconic city of London, UK, in the summer of 2025.
The 2024 Around the Globe International Music Festival will feature four distinct music competitions focusing on keyboard instruments such as piano and accordion. There will also be contests for piano composition open to all ages and for musicology for young students. The musicology competition requires submitting an article on modern composers of contemporary classical or jazz styles and their piano compositions after 1970.
The programme categories of our piano competition for Piano Solo and Piano Duet 4 hands are for various styles, including traditional classical, contemporary classical and jazz music with improvisation. The festival promises to be an excellent opportunity for music enthusiasts of all ages and nationalities to showcase their talent and for the audience to experience diverse music performances. The festival is open to all, including juniors and adult musicians, both amateur and professional, with many categories for different musical genres and age groups, ensuring a rich and inclusive musical experience for all.
All our competitions consist of four rounds: the First (Free Registration), the Second (Final), the Third (Awards Nomination), and the Fourth (Winners’ Concert Nominations).
We are pleased to announce that candidates who make it to the Final Second Round will receive a digital certificate to acknowledge their accomplishments. Additionally, special digital certificates will be awarded to the 1st prize winners and displayed on the Winners Wall webpage. Candidates will also receive a detailed written feedback report from our esteemed Jury Panel Adjudicator, providing valuable insights on their entry and highlighting areas of strength and areas for improvement. This recognition and feedback process, a key part of our commitment to nurturing talent, ensures that all participants feel supported and guided in their musical journey regardless of the competition outcome.
