We are thrilled to announce that entries are already pouring in for our diverse array of competitions. Thanks to the feedback from our dedicated contestants and their teachers, we've extended the submission deadline to 28th November, allowing even more of you to participate and ensuring you have ample time to prepare your best performance.

This year, our festival features a wide range of four dynamic online competitions: the enchanting Piano Competition, the expressive Accordion Competition, the innovative Piano Composition Contest, and the intellectually stimulating Young Musicologist Competition. Each category offers a prestigious platform for musicians of all skill levels worldwide to showcase their talents and creativity.


Entering our competitions is quick and easy. With just a few clicks, you can visit our website, select your desired competition, choose your programme and age category, and upload your video or audio file, or relevant PDF documents. It's that simple!

11th Piano Competition new category

A SET UP PIECE/S category

dedicated to contemporary classical and jazz styles


We are pleased to announce the enhancement of the renowned Around the Globe 11th Piano Competition with the introduction of a new category dedicated to contemporary classical and jazz styles, featuring a Set Up Piece/s category.


Pianists are cordially invited to explore our updated, expansive, and diverse collection of modern and jazz piano works available on our website.


This comprehensive selection features compositions from distinguished composers from various regions worldwide, offering a rich tapestry of styles and influences that will undoubtedly inspire and elevate your musical journey. Participants have the flexibility to learn multiple works based on the time constraints of their respective Age Category, or they may opt to focus on a single piece; the decision rests with them. We provide an array of compositions suitable for all skill levels, featuring works by notable composers such as Marcel Zidani, Melanie Spanswick, Vera Milankovic, Alison Mathews, Tim Richards, Graham Lynch, Christopher Norton, Isidora Zebeljan, Milosh Raichkovich, Vladimir Titov, Monica Cardenas, Dante Santiago Anzolini and many others.


We encourage each pianist to thoughtfully explore these pieces in preparation for the Set Up Piece/s categories, allowing for a deeper connection to the music and showcasing their unique interpretations. Don't miss this chance to be part of a global celebration of music.

All contestants who advance to the Final Second Round will be awarded a Digital E-certificate in recognition of their achievements, which will be sent to them by email within 6 weeks after the Awards Nomination event. In addition, they will also receive a detailed written feedback report from our esteemed Jury Panel Adjudicator, which will provide valuable insights into their entry and highlight areas of strength as well as areas for improvement.
